Working with EntityFramework.Extended

Hi Tamas,

First of all, thanks for Effort. It's been very helpful with our testing.

In our project, we are trying to integrate Entityframework.Extended for the bulk updates/ deletes. When I tried to test the 'Update' method in EF.Extended with a simple example in Effort, the following statement returned a null value
objectQuery.ToTraceString()
The objectQuery as such is not null. Is there a way to get around this issue and actually make it return the query to execute.

Thanks

Hi,

Effort does not use "SQL text commands" internally but converts "EF command trees" into "Linq to NMemory" expressions, so unfortunately this approach probably will not able to work.

Personally I would create a new layer above the EF.Extended batch command APIs that would fall back to pure EF update/delete mechanism if Effort is used (or ToTraceString is empty).
