Another idea, as a someday-maybe enhancement:

I'm testing a method that updates a number of records in a single transaction. I wrap it all in a try/catch block, and on any exception I Rollback() and rethrow.

It would be nice, if I could configure the NMemory database, in Effort, to throw a specified exception, so that I could unit test my exception handling.

Oh, somehow I forgot this one.

Interesting idea. Doesn't Entity Framework wraps the exception thrown by NMemory? Could you provide a concrete example?

I'd start with the simplest stuff.

Writing a record with a duplicate primary key, or with null value for a not null field.
